Interior Design Services for Brighton, Elwood, Kew & Armadale Homes
We’ve just wrapped up a beautiful renovation for one of our lovely clients in Elwood, and as we step back to admire the finished space—full of warmth, intention, and balance—we wanted to share a little of what happens behind the scenes. Because what makes a renovation look effortless is often everything that’s carefully orchestrated behind the walls, timelines, and palettes.
Whether you’re renovating a classic Kew home, updating a coastal gem in Brighton, or reimagining a charming Armadale terrace, there’s one consistent thread we see: the process can quickly become overwhelming without the right guide. That’s where a thoughtfully engaged interior designer becomes not just helpful—but essential.
1. We Speak the Builder’s Language—So You Don’t Have To
One of the biggest reliefs our clients tell us about? Not having to field questions from every trade onsite. During a renovation, builders and trades need decisions—fast. Which direction should the tiles run? Do the sconces sit at 160cm or 170cm? What finish are the door handles?
As your interior designer, we answer those questions on your behalf. We act as the translator between your vision and the builder’s process, ensuring continuity, clarity, and—most importantly—keeping the stress off your plate. Instead of a constant stream of calls or texts from the site, you get calm updates and clear milestones.
2. We See What You Can’t—Yet
Most clients know how they want their home to feel—calm, cohesive, elevated—but translating that into material selections, spatial layout, and joinery design can feel overwhelming.
That’s where we come in. We walk through your home, see the space as it could be, and present a clear design vision. Through mood boards, 3D renders, and curated sample boxes, we help you visualise how each decision contributes to the final look and feel.
In our recent Kew project, this process was a game-changer. Once our clients saw how the muted stone benchtops would pair with their soft oak cabinetry and brushed brass accents, they felt confident and excited—knowing exactly where the design was headed.
3. We Time It All to Perfection
One of the most overlooked aspects of a renovation? Procurement and logistics. That dreamy pendant light you fell in love with might have a 14-week lead time. Those handmade Moroccan tiles? They need to be ordered well in advance to avoid holding up your trades.
As your interior designer, we don’t just choose pieces—we order them, track them, and coordinate delivery to site so they arrive exactly when they’re needed. For our recent Kew project, that meant having the tapware on hand before the plumber even set foot onsite, and the custom joinery hardware ready the day cabinetry was installed. It’s not magic—it’s planning.
4. A Cohesive Vision from Start to Finish
Renovations involve dozens of decisions. From skirting profiles to paint finishes to lighting placement—it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. Our role is to keep that vision consistent, ensuring every element speaks to the whole.
We curate your selections so they feel like you, only elevated. Whether your style leans classic, coastal
